Our lives are exactly that.\u00a0\u00a0
Not perfect.\u00a0\u00a0
Bent.\u00a0\u00a0
Crushed.\u00a0\u00a0
Broken.\u00a0\u00a0
Twisted.

We are like those children\u00a0
who walk out onto the stage\u00a0\u00a0
with faith in their hearts
believing that despite everything in us\u00a0
that is\u00a0cracked, damaged, or difficult,\u00a0\u00a0
we are still WORTHY
of love,\u00a0\u00a0
of attention,\u00a0
of admiration. <\/strong>

That is what it means\u00a0
to be fully human.\u00a0\u00a0
In spite of the scrapes,\u00a0the bruises,
the scars,\u00a0and the shadows.
Each of us, somewhere deep inside,\u00a0\u00a0
in our fortress, our cave, our shelter,\u00a0\u00a0
as long as we are alive,\u00a0\u00a0
still holds onto the hope\u00a0
that we are worthy\u00a0\u00a0
of everything beautiful\u00a0
that lives in us.
Fear takes so much from us.
If it scares us just enough to stop.\u00a0\u00a0
Just enough to keep us from walking through it.\u00a0\u00a0
Our wounds may break our legs\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>
but still we have wings.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>
\u2764\ufe0f\ud83e\udd79

Last night I watched an episode of\u00a0\u00a0
Britain\u2019s Got Talent,\u00a0\u00a0
where sick and disabled children came to sing.\u00a0\u00a0
They came with their parents,\u00a0
their doctors, their caretakers,\u00a0
with their angels.
The ones who helped them\u00a0
–\u00a0despite everything –
get exactly the place they dreamed of,\u00a0\u00a0
so the whole world could see and hear\u00a0
that it is possible.
Even someone like me.
And sometimes, when I can\u2019t sleep at night,\u00a0\u00a0
I love those 3 a.m. moments
when something inspires me.
Touches my life.\u00a0\u00a0
Pushes my change.\u00a0\u00a0
Fuels my action.
We are all here for one another.\u00a0\u00a0
Let\u2019s learn passion and joy\u00a0
from each other.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
