forever.\u00a0<br>Or maybe, someday, somewhere, in paradise.\u00a0<br>Maybe that\u2019s why grief lasts so long?\u00a0<br>Because deep in our hearts,\u00a0<br>we simply can\u2019t accept it.\u00a0<br>Forever is a lot.\u00a0<br>Forever is eternity.\u00a0<br><br>Religion takes away the soul\u2019s perspective.\u00a0<br>The one in which those who have left\u00a0<br>haven\u2019t really left us at all.\u00a0<br>Where each of us has something\u00a0<br>to learn here on Earth.\u00a0<br>Where we are meant to walk alongside one another\u00a0<br>and move through our lessons.\u00a0<br>Sometimes, often, deeply painful ones.\u00a0<br><br>We miss those\u00a0<br>who have already left our lives\u00a0<br>in a way that does not serve us.\u00a0<br>Guilt.\u00a0<br>Abandonment.\u00a0<br>Longing.\u00a0<br>Betrayal.\u00a0<br>Despair.\u00a0<br><br>But they are with us.\u00a0<br>They are waiting for us.\u00a0<br>They are supporting us.\u00a0<br>They love us &#8211; deeply.\u00a0<br><br>If only we let ourselves\u00a0<br>feel them in the silence.\u00a0<br>If only we sent out that intention.\u00a0<br>The signs will come.\u00a0<br><br>It\u2019s incredible how much peace\u00a0<br>has been taken from us\u00a0<br>through the lens of just one lifetime.\u00a0<br>Without deeper meaning,\u00a0<br>we drowned in guilt and punishment.\u00a0<br>Our loved ones who have passed\u00a0<br>are our eternal friends.\u00a0<br>Our soulmates,<br>whom, even if we can\u2019t see them anymore,\u00a0<br>we can still feel.<br>Do you know how I know?\u00a0<br>From that tear forming in your eye.\u00a0<br>Because we know everything.\u00a0<br>Deep in our hearts.\u00a0<br>\u2764\ufe0f<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Religion takes so much from us.\u00a0Pressed into a system,\u00a0we say goodbye in mourning &#8211;
