{"id":8066,"date":"2026-08-16T17:43:41","date_gmt":"2026-08-16T15:43:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sandrasinger.blog\/?p=8066"},"modified":"2026-08-16T17:45:11","modified_gmt":"2026-08-16T15:45:11","slug":"the-people-we-have-around-us-are-our-blessing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sandrasinger.blog\/en\/the-people-we-have-around-us-are-our-blessing","title":{"rendered":"The People we have around us\u2028 are our Blessing"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Part 2 \u2013 I\u2019m Learning to Recognize My Needs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>They often piss us off. <br>They often irritate us. <br>They push our buttons. <\/strong> <br><strong>\u201cSeriously?\u201d <\/strong><br><strong>\u201cCan\u2019t you see?\u201d<\/strong> <br><br><strong>But what, really?\u00a0<br><br>\u201cCan\u2019t you see my pain?\u201d<\/strong> <br><br><strong>Our anger, our little sadness,<br>or simply something that bothers and irritates us,<br>is also \u2013 or perhaps above all \u2013 about us.<\/strong> <br><br><strong>It is important information for me\u2026 about me.<\/strong> <br><br><strong>Behind that irritation, there is a need.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>To be seen.<br>To be cared for.<br>To be heard.<br>To be appreciated.<\/strong> <br><br><strong>We often shout at each other from the place of unmet needs<br>\u2013 deep inside us.<\/strong> <br><br><strong>That\u2019s why it irritates us so much.<\/strong> <br><br><strong>How can I hear someone else\u2019s needs<br>when I don\u2019t allow myself to hear my own?<\/strong> <br><br><strong>How can someone hear me<br>when they are drowning themselves out?<\/strong> <br><br><strong>Everyone has different needs.<\/strong> <br><strong>Often our arguments are not really information <\/strong><br><strong>about someone else<br>\u2013 but about us.<\/strong> <br><br><strong>It is worth learning how to separate the two.<\/strong> <br><br><strong>Every time:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Information about what happened between us<br>\u2013 what happened here \u2013 3 sentences \u2013 concrete facts.<br>And we give ourselves Time and Space.<br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Information about me<br>\u2013 where is the true source of my triggered red button?<br>I go there on my own. <\/strong><br><strong>With tenderness.<\/strong>  <br><strong>With the Loving Inner Parent I have built in my heart.<\/strong> <br><strong>With attention.<\/strong> <br><strong>And with kindness.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Life itself and everyday life<br>are our teachers.<\/strong> <br><strong>For us.<\/strong> <br><strong>That\u2019s why Family can be so difficult. \ud83d\ude42\u00a0<br>Usually, we can\u2019t run away from them.\u00a0<br>And they place some of the most important <\/strong><br><strong>lessons in front of us.\u00a0<br><br>About setting boundaries.<br>About learning to express ourselves.<br>About staying loyal to ourselves.<br>About staying connected to ourselves while being <\/strong><br><strong>in a relationship and considering each other\u2019s needs.<br>About empathy.<br>About compassion.<br>About our ego.<\/strong> <br><br><strong>When we begin to look at our loved ones this way,<br>they stop seeming so \u201cscary\u201d.\u00a0<br>Instead, we can smile and say to ourselves:\u00a0<br>\u201cI\u2019ll try to go through this differently.\u201d\u00a0<br>Then somehow, I feel lighter,<br>and life begins to make more sense.\u00a0<br>Because really, they\u2019re just little hurdles to get over. \ud83d\ude42<br><br>I\u2019ll somehow figure it out with my feeling heart.<\/strong> <br><br><strong>No.\u00a0<br>I\u2019ll somehow get through it with my feeling heart.<\/strong> <br><br><strong>Because it is our ego that \u201cfigures things out\u201d,<br>while the heart finds a third way. \ud83d\ude42<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Part 2 \u2013 I\u2019m Learning to Recognize My Needs They often piss us off.
