Joy is a state of mind

Joy is a state 
we can learn to choose.  
How fully present are you 
in the place you are now? 🙂

You are okay today. 
You are okay right now. 
Not in a year. 
Not next month. 
Not starting Monday. 
Not from January 1st. 
You are already okey – right now.
Then comes personal growth, 
which will bring you a lot of satisfaction.  
Pride in yourself.  
In the journey you’ll take.  
But!  
You’re living today.  
You’ve got a whole day ahead of you
– full of possibility.  
You can choose to get frustrated,  
or you can learn  
to give yourself space, time, and ease.  
To give yourself a smile.  
And then pass it on to others.  
And thankfully, 
you can always come back to this.  
You can rediscover it within yourself.
Joy is a state we choose. 
And since we’re already here, already alive,  
maybe it’s worth giving it a try?
To simply learn joy.
Learning how to choose it.  
But not in 10 years or 3 fairy tales.  
Not after 5 kilos or 2 kids.  
Not for any reason at all.
Just at this moment.
Right now.
So maybe… a smile? 🙂
