I Take Action – and He Takes Care of Me

I take action,  
and my God / Light / Universe  
takes care of me.

There was a strange feeling inside me
that I didn’t want God to guide me, 
because I wanted to do it on my own…  
Because surely he has some other plan for me,  
that I probably wouldn’t like it.
Weird, right?

But maybe it’s exactly that thought, 
The one we never say out loud,
that keeps us from asking for help?
It was such an eye – opening 
experience for me.  
Such an unexpected adventure. 
The moment I tried to ask.  
The moment I surrendered, 
and offered my life to Him. 
The moment I asked for Guidance and Blessing.

That’s when miracles began to happen in my life.  
I’m not sitting around waiting 
for a white dove to fly down from the sky.  
I act, I move forward,
following my own plans and feelings.
But!
He clears the path for me.  
He supports me.  
He holds my hand.  
And I grow.
I feel when something needs to change.  
I feel when someone or something
isn’t good for me.  
But I can’t see the bigger picture,
not the way He does 
– God, Energy, the Light. 
Miracle is a word too small.  
I could never have come up 
with this on my own. 
So I do, the best I can,  
in the way I know how,
and He takes care of the rest,
even the parts I can’t see yet.  
And do you know 
what’s happening to me?  
I’m beginning to shine.  
As I step closer to my truth,  
my talents,  
my possibilities.  
My heart is learning how to be calm, 
even when the ground shakes.  
Because after three years 
of daily practice,
– meditation with the prayer,  
I know now
that even when my world is trembling, 
the change that’s shaking it
is the very thing I was too afraid 
to choose on my own.

And that change?
It’s exactly what I need
for my growth,
for the fulfillment of my request,
for the prayer and Intention 
I send out each day.  
The power of our manifestation 
is greater than we can imagine.
