Why Do I Need My Inner Work?

Only when we truly have and feel
a deep NEED
– we start looking, searching, changing.

When things feel good
– we stay still.
And sometimes, it’s good to stay
in a good place.
But when that inner need returns
– for peace, joy, and release –
and suddenly we’re standing in discomfort,
we want solutions.
And we want them now.

Those solutions are always
within us.
They’re waiting.
For us to wake up.
To open our eyes.
To choose something different.
Ever since I was a little girl, I loved psychology.
I loved observing people.
Which, in my extroverted nature,
is a bit of a strange contradiction.
Combined with my high sensitivity,
I became a master at tormenting myself
with not understanding myself and others.
I even studied psychology,
but after two years of endless words,
theories, and books,
my natural intuition for people and myself began to fade.
So I chose my own path.
Of searching. Of reading. Of living.
Of observing. Of learning.
To help myself.
To understand myself.
To learn how to live lightly.
I believe the art I’ve found
is in CONNECTION
It lives in the everyday.

We are made of so many colors,
emotions, stories, patterns,
habits, assumptions, beliefs.

There’s so much of it all
that I often thought:
“Just give me one sentence
that can change my world.”
“Give me one recipe
to add a little flavor to my day.”
And I always missed a simpler way
to name what’s inside us.

What moves us from within.
What changes our relationships.
What transforms us.
What brings freedom and lightness to our experience of another day.
Because days just keep coming,
and we are tired.
How the hell am I supposed to smile
when all I want to do is scream?!
One step.
One sentence.
One shift.
Just try.
Even if it’s just out of curiosity.
Experiment.
Quietly.
Just within yourself.
When we’re grown up we want to fly.
But suddenly it turns out that all we’ve collected so far is tying up our feet.
We can’t even jump.
And yet we want to teach our children to fly.

We are body, mind, and soul.
We are a great mystery
– waiting to be revealed.
We are beautiful beings
– waiting to be discovered.
Fully.
In harmony.
In returning to ourselves.

Welcome to my Treasure Map.
🙂

How do I work with myself?
How do I connect all of this together?
In our complexity, there is a path.
In our chaos, there is an inner order.
This came to me spontaneously,
with the intention of sharing
the simplest possible version of a path
that each of us can follow
into the heart of ourselves.
A kind of mini guide.
But also a way to connect ourselves as a whole
– body (our roots), mind (psychology),
and soul (our heart and feelings).

To know ourselves –
just beyond fear 🙂

is to discover the most beautiful journey of our life!
