Sometimes we give ourselves too much power

Where there were so many people.
Where there were so many circumstances.
Where there were so many unknowns.

Sometimes…
“It’s not my fault”

Sometimes…
“It’s not your fault”

Not only your decisions
Not only your words
Not only your thoughts
Not only your actions

co-create this world and this reality.

Sometimes it’s worth remembering that.

And once again… honoring
and letting go of what
brings up in us a deep sense of
guilt,
shame,
helplessness.

These are emotions that
– like all other emotions,
show us something important.

It’s worth following them into the silence
– to see what they are telling us
and what they want to show us.

But then – I am in Today –
and everything that no longer serves me
– I say goodbye to.

Not with anger.
Not with a lack of understanding.
Not with that very helplessness.

I say goodbye with respect.
I say goodbye in respect.
I bow to what I am meant to understand,
so I can keep going.

Standing tall.
In alignment.
At peace.

“It’s not my fault”
and
“It’s not your fault”.
